The Maverick/Comet Club International, Inc. is made up of members of the former International Maverick/Comet Club,Inc., which was founded in January, 1993 by a few dedicated enthusiasts in several different states. The MCCI is a greatway for owners of 1970-1977 Ford Mavericks and Mercury Comets to communicate with each other, build a network to find parts, and become recognized by enthusiast magazines.
As of 2006, we were more than 350 strong, and boasted members from several different countries such as Canada, Brazil and Mexico...where Mavericks were also produced. We continue to grow each month, and with the power of the Internet, we will have a faster and easier way to communicate, recruit new members, and announce MCCI activities.
Yearly membership dues are $20.00 (U.S. dollars). Membership in the MCCI includes a one year subscription to our bi-monthly newsletter: Shorthorns, two nice exterior-mount decals with the MCCI logo, a membership card, and discounts with several vendors and events. The MCCI holds a National show every year. The "Roundup Nationals" is the largest event we hold each year and is attended by members from numerous states. There are also mini-meets held through-out the year, hosted by an MCCI State Representative. Check out our “Calendar of Events”, published in every issue of Shorthorns. The MCCI also has merchandise available to show your Club spirit. We have T-shirts, decals....and more!! And your membership includes FREE classified ads in Shorthorns....to help you buy and sell Maverick/Comet cars, parts, accessories, collectibles, and more!!
